Creating videos for restaurants is one of my specialties. During college I worked as a gourmet waiter and bartender, so I have a good understanding of the business. I enjoy working with the owner to mold the specific story he or she wants to tell. When having video on a restaurant website as opposed to just using still photos, the message and feeling you want to communicate is far more powerful then just using stills alone. Video also helps SEO (search engine optimization) significantly.
The purpose of this video was to help create brand identity for this chain of self serve yogurt stores in NJ. We wanted to capture the laid back Jamaican theme of this uniquely designed self serve yogurt store chain.

This downtown pottery studio wanted engaging videos that showed examples of some of the creative specialties it offers. These creative specialties & services include Painting, Clay Hand Building, Glass Fusing, & Private Parties. We simply made videos that quickly communicate what these specialties & services are all about. These videos will inspire viewers to come in and create. Viewers will also quickly understand how easy creating can be.
I have had a desire and passion to produce video ever since college. About four years ago there was a revolution in video camera and editing technology. DSLR cameras for shooting video arrived on the market, and changed everything. I invest in state of the art camera’s & lenses, that practically get rid of the need for distracting and unflattering artificial lights. My lenses allow me to capture video in low natural flattering light. These lenses also help achieve the filmic look, where the subject is in sharp focus and the background is often creamy or blurred out. This look is aesthetically pleasing and gives a warm dreamy look instead of the digital flat look.
One of my goals while capturing video is to remain unobtrusive while shooting. The camera I use is the same small size as a photographers camera. My goal is to barely be noticed and still be able capture all the important moments at the same time.

These elements create a modern NYC vibe that compliments the brand of Studio 450. Studio 450 is a penthouse duplex loft encompassing the 12th floor, at 450 West 31st street in NYC.
